The disrespect for BLACK owned businesses; especially towards BLACK WOMEN

Hey ya’ll

Ana’jah here. I’m just gonna get right into it. I'm annoyed with the disrespect and disgusting attitudes some of yall give Black owned businesses; especially to Black women. I wanted to get something off of my chest. For sometime now, I’ve noticed how a lot of BLACK owned businesses are treated so badly by Black people. As a Black business owner and working in the customer service industry, the DISRESPECT is disgusting. As a Black woman already living in this world we have it fucking rough. We always have to go 10x’s harder on everything we do.

The entrepreneur lifestyle is HARD, it might look easy on the outside, but it's not. There's a lot of work that goes into making your business run smoothly and successful. So when I see the bashing on these social media platforms it pisses me off. How dare you try to ruin another person's business for a mistake that could have turned into an opportunity to work with one another, give that business owner some constructive business tips, as many will accept you letting them know, so that they can acknowledge their mistake and correct it. Just know that you can also be paying it forward for their next customer(s).

Running a business is a learning process, everybody does not have the answers, especially for entrepreneurs getting started in an industry where they do not have all of the knowledge. See I’m the type of person that doesn't mind giving out tips here and there. If I see that you are missing your link in your bio, I will let you know and offer to help. It doesn't cost to help or support another business.

Another thing that bugs me is, some entrepreneurs are quick to tear down the next entrepreneur and their business. Do you ever just take a moment and think “My backlash is going to hurt this person's business” because once you start, here come ten more people bashing this same business owner. Instead of running to social media, how about you go to that person privately and give them some feedback on what they can do better or some tips for future references. It is not hard and does not require all that extra shit.

We should be helping and supporting each other. Not tearing each other down. Yeah we do have that handful of people who act like their shit dont stink, but I’m talking for the Black Queens that are out here grinding, putting everything on the line for their business, tryna to service others while making something out of themselves. Those negative comments do hurt people, especially when you are working, so hard on something you are passionate about.

Since I don't mind schooling people. Check out some tips below on how to handle the situation
