Hey entrepreneurs! I hope you all had an amazing week and resting on this beautiful Saturday. Can you believe that we are still in the middle of the pandemic?! One thing I do notice and love is that you all did not give up. I feel as though during this time we took everything in our business to the next damn level. I learned and taught myself so much damn stuff, especially being a small business and having the role of everything. Have you heard of the app called TikTok? Well if you haven’t, it's where creators create all types of content in a video for a certain amount of time, if you had Vine a few years back that's how the app is. Well back to what I was saying, I noticed that a lot of small business owners are now sharing their business resources (you know I love helping people) it just made my heart smile. Cause sometimes people are so damn stingy for no reason, it's okay to share boo lmao. We all know that some people do not like to research for themselves or are just lazy, but then you have the people who genuinely do not know what to do when researching for their business. I just love seeing on TikTok the business owners making content on how to do something, giving out tips, and just being helpful. The message I am trying to spread is, we have to be here for one another and help. We don't have to help everyone but if someone reaches out to you or you see where they’ve made a mistake or see that they are missing something IT IS ALRIGHT TO HELP! A week ago I finally got my nails done from this young Black-owned nail tech ( I will tag her information below) I found her on Instagram and was watching her page for some time. I noticed a few things that could help grow her brand more. Now it's crazy because due to COVID, I was a little afraid to book an appointment. So fast-forward I booked my appointment. I was very excited because her work is BOMB!! I got there and automatically I started talking, we talked about almost everything. She asked me a question about money management and from there she motivated me to finish this project I have been procrastinating on. Later that day I finished the project and sent it to her the next day for no charge just because of how much I wanted to help her business and make an impact. She was very appreciative of it. This is what I mean by helping each other out. You never know who you are going to cross paths with. I was excited that I motivated her to do more for her business and spark that fire!!! It’s such an amazing feeling when you help others and motivate them. It’s okay to help others. Don't forget to follow us on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook to join the conversation! I want to hear your opinions. Alright beautiful people, Thank you and talk to you soon! -A. SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY
