Hey boss babes!!! Happy Friday, you made it through the week. There are times when I have creativity/writing blocks. Us business owners know what that is and how that can lead to procrastination. When not knowing what I want to create I always do these steps to get my creative juices flowing. Number 1: Take a break. Taking a break can help calm you down and not get you frustrated. We need a clear mindset when creating. Listen to some music, make a cup of tea/coffee, read a chapter of your book, or meditate. Number 2: Write out your thoughts. When I am writing and need to come up with content, I always write out my thoughts. My mind is all over the place (Ima keep it real with you), but when I write down what I want to talk about and share, It helps to see on paper what I am trying to say. Number 3: Finish it for another day. Yep, sometimes it's just best to work on it the next day, not next week or next month, the next day. You might have had a rough day and working while being upset will not help you. Trust me Number 4: Ask a family or friend for advice. Getting advice from a family or friend is always good. Having that extra pair of eyes or minds can help jumpstart your idea. I ask my mom all the time whenever I am stuck. Momma always knows best! The next time you get blocked, feel free to use these tips and it will help you get through your blockage!! Don't forget to follow us on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook to join the conversation! I want to hear your opinions. Alright beautiful people, Thank you and talk to you soon! @bosstalkswithaHey boss babes!!!
Happy November, Can you believe that we are almost done with the year 2020! This year has been crazy. We are still in the middle of a pandemic and I am so ready to get back to being able to go outside freely and just enjoy the world. Even though I work from home, COVID-19 has pushed me to start and complete my goals. I challenged myself last month to do better and be more prepared but I failed. I didn't give up, but to make a change, I had to push myself to not complain and go after what I want. I am thankful that my business is still open and afloat. As an entrepreneur, you will have your slow season, and October was very slow. When it's a slow season, you have to learn how to pivot. I took the extra time I had and planned, planned, planned. I taught myself how to create content and schedule for a full month. I've gotten better with writing my blogs in advance, running social media, teaching others, I even taught myself how to build a website. See how I used my time to grow my brand and learn. I started to set goals for myself and stop any type of procrastination. You guys do not know but I am a diabetic, so I have been trying to focus on my health and balance my work so I can have the energy to do what I do. I started this blog because there are so much knowledge and skills that I want to share with you guys. There is a disconnect in my city and online audience where when people need help, others do not like helping. I want y'all to know that I am here for you all. There's so much that I've created and cannot wait to share with you all!!! Just a reminder to keep going and don't give up. There will be days when nothing works, you want to cry or quit. BUT DON'T. KEEP PUSHING!!! Also please vote, if you haven't. Don't forget to follow us on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook to join the conversation! I want to hear your opinions. Alright beautiful people, Thank you and talk to you soon! |
