Hey bosses!
It’s a new week which means you are allowed to fix/change whatever it is you did not succeed last week. Today’s blog is a little different, I went deep into my creative bag and wanted to write somethng special for you all. Switching things up right quick. The word I am using is R.E.S.P.E.C.T What does respect mean to you? To me, RESPECT means: Responsibility Being responsible for every action, mistake, and accomplishment that has been in your path while running your business. Educate Teaching others your mistakes or knowledge that you got you to the place of success in your business. Do not be afraid to educate others. Secure SECURE THAT BAG!!! Any amount matters. I don’t care if its $40 someone saw your potential and trusted you. Positive Always remain positive babe! Keep that positive energy flowing no matter what. Expression Show your passion at all times, remind people and leave that mark on them. Community If it wasn’t for our community how successful would your business be? Give back and give thanks. Trust TRUST THE PROCESS!!!! I’m gonna say that again TRUST THE PROCESS!!! Manifest and do not worry your plan will happen! Now I hope this boosted and motivated you to not give up or stop what you are doing. Someone is always watching. You ever need a reminder, below will be a link to download this poem. I want you all to succeed and respect your business and yourself AT ALL TIMES!!! r.e.s.p.e.c.t.png Don't forget to follow us on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook to join the conversation! Hey entrepreneurs! I hope you all had an amazing week and resting on this beautiful Saturday. Can you believe that we are still in the middle of the pandemic?! One thing I do notice and love is that you all did not give up. I feel as though during this time we took everything in our business to the next damn level. I learned and taught myself so much damn stuff, especially being a small business and having the role of everything. Have you heard of the app called TikTok? Well if you haven’t, it's where creators create all types of content in a video for a certain amount of time, if you had Vine a few years back that's how the app is. Well back to what I was saying, I noticed that a lot of small business owners are now sharing their business resources (you know I love helping people) it just made my heart smile. Cause sometimes people are so damn stingy for no reason, it's okay to share boo lmao. We all know that some people do not like to research for themselves or are just lazy, but then you have the people who genuinely do not know what to do when researching for their business. I just love seeing on TikTok the business owners making content on how to do something, giving out tips, and just being helpful. The message I am trying to spread is, we have to be here for one another and help. We don't have to help everyone but if someone reaches out to you or you see where they’ve made a mistake or see that they are missing something IT IS ALRIGHT TO HELP! A week ago I finally got my nails done from this young Black-owned nail tech ( I will tag her information below) I found her on Instagram and was watching her page for some time. I noticed a few things that could help grow her brand more. Now it's crazy because due to COVID, I was a little afraid to book an appointment. So fast-forward I booked my appointment. I was very excited because her work is BOMB!! I got there and automatically I started talking, we talked about almost everything. She asked me a question about money management and from there she motivated me to finish this project I have been procrastinating on. Later that day I finished the project and sent it to her the next day for no charge just because of how much I wanted to help her business and make an impact. She was very appreciative of it. This is what I mean by helping each other out. You never know who you are going to cross paths with. I was excited that I motivated her to do more for her business and spark that fire!!! It’s such an amazing feeling when you help others and motivate them. It’s okay to help others. Don't forget to follow us on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook to join the conversation! A here, *Disclaimer* This piece is raw, no sugar coating just how I’ve been feeling lately. I am currently at a point right now in my business where I am feeling stuck. I do not know what to create, what to speak about, or just how I should be running my businesses. When I take breaks, I feel as if I am wasting time and missing out on opportunities. But at times you have to remember to take a break and not overwork yourself. There are days when I am exhausted and just not in the mood for anything. Being a single mom is also challenging when having to balance/juggle making sure my child is alright during the day and making sure my client needs are being taken care of. It’s what I signed up for so I am not complaining, but sometimes it's a lot. I feel like I don't give myself enough time. I'm not satisfied with where my business level is currently. I work so I can become successful so that my business can move and grow consistently so I can have enough to relax and not be so worried. As an entrepreneur we all have the right to feel our feelings, never ignore your feelings. We are all human, shit happens. Sometimes we do not have control over what the fuck happens. You can go into business with friends/family and within a month or two the relationships are different. Loved ones start to become distant, you’re always tired, you feel drained, everything just changes. But just know that in the end, it's all worth it. We lose people in our lives so God can make room for others that deserve that spot. (Trust me, I lost so many people within a year) but I had to tell myself to not worry about things like that. Whatever is meant for you will come to you and stay. I'm personal here because I want to relate and let you all know that it is O FUCKIN K to go through what you go through. The past two weeks were very rough for me, I wanted to give up so bad. But what I did was I let myself get upset, felt every emotion, and when I could get my thoughts together, I had a pep talk with myself and wrote everything down that I wanted to complete for the rest of the week. And here we are in a new month, new week, and here we are. I posted 2 blogs for this week. The small accomplishments matter and make a huge difference. I feel GREAT and ready to get things back on track. So if you ever want to talk or vent I'm here, send me an email or DM. Remember, I see you guys working and your business is going to make it! Until next time. Bye Don't forget to follow us on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook to join the conversation! I want to hear your opinions. I hope you all are doing amazing as we are currently still in the middle of this pandemic! My apologies again for my absence, it's been a challenge trying to maintain work and my personal life. I’ve been putting off getting this blog out (felt stuck with what I wanted to talk about) But here we are and I'm 100% back just for you all amazing people. I will be adding some goodies on the website for all that feel stuck and just don't know what to do. Remember I have a submission form for you all to submit whatever it is that you need. So let's get into it. Over the past few months, I noticed a lot of business owners from social media constantly talking shit about how other people make a living for themselves. My issue is, why are you so bothered about how someone else is making money. No one ever knows a person's situation, so I get bothered when they go online (their business page) and bash others. Did you read my Stay Humble piece? That karma can come back around and out of nowhere, your business reputation is gone. Some advice, please stop worrying about what the next person is doing. Just cause their hustle isn't what you do, does not give you the right to bash another entrepreneur for working differently. Please mind your business and keep it moving. You wouldn't like someone else bashing you and your hustle all over social media. People hustle differently, you putting another person's business on your social media will hurt their pockets. The lesson here is to always be respectful of others and STOP being mean. MIND YOUR BUSINESS!! Stop acting like you're above the next person. Calm down and worry about yourself. How do you feel when you see a business owner bashing another business owner? Comment below, I want to see your opinions.
